ESA and Remediation at an Electronic Manufacturing Facility in Guangdong, China, 2005-ongoing.
The project started with Phase I ESA and compliance audit. Phase II/III investigations followed to delineate multiple contaminant plumes. ESD also conducted compliance audit and reviews of air and wastewater treatment system design. Soil and groundwater remediation work involved include UST removal, excavation and offsite disposal, groundwater pump and treat, in-situ chemical oxidation and biopile.
Health, Safety, Social and Environmental (HSSE) Management for a Gas Production Field in Sichuan, China (2005-ongoing).
ESD provided three HSSE supervisors to a US-based oil/gas company to manage the HSSE program in the drilling/production fields. The HSSE managers are responsible for the set-up of HSSE management programs, employee training, supervision of fieldwork, SH&E audits, incident investigations, management of emergency response programs, daily meetings, weekly/monthly reports and field security programs.
